2015 will be sneaking up on us sooner than we know! And if you want to throw a New Year's bash, you should start your party planning today itself! Even if you are a bit tight on your budget, you can throw a great bash with the décor, music, dance, food and lots of fun with your buddies!
To make your life easier we've come up with a few important party planning tips for your New Year's bash.

The first thing to decide should be your list of invitees. Keep your budget in mind while making the list of how many people you want to invite. A bunch of close friends and family members is ideal.

Decorations make a huge difference to the ambiance of a party. Depending on your budget, you could get magic candles that never go out or use your old LED lights that you used to decorate your Christmas tree last year.
Send out the invites on group chats or send a funny-face selfie to all your friends asking them to respond with their funniest-face if they accept the invitation! This could be your way of suggesting that party is going to be fun!

After a few minutes at the party, your friends and family will surely get tired of talking, so you better have some fun activities planned for them. You could keep a New Year confession game in which people could confess anything wacky or weird that they perhaps would never do in a church! Another activity could be writing down the resolutions and then reading them aloud just to have fun.

No party is complete without good music! Look up on the internet for the best party songs or play some common favourites. If you can't afford to hire a DJ, ask for a volunteer from amongst your guests! Trouble by Taylor Swift, Feel This Moment by Christina Aguilera, Counting Stars By One Republic are some great numbers!
When everybody is tired of talking and dancing, have some appetizers ready to nibble on. No need to cater anything, make some Tortilla chips at home and serve with packaged salsa dip, or serve a variety of pickled fruits with a chocolate dessert to balance it out.

Don't feel awkward or embarrassed to make it a BYOA (Bring Your Own Alcohol) affair – your guests know how costly an affair it would be to arrange different spirits for everyone in the house! Ask your guests to carry their drinks along.
Another important tip is to keep lots of tissue and mint in your washroom. Confused? Well, since it's New Year's Eve, there'll be lots of kissing happening at midnight, and you'd want to keep things fresh! ;)
