Just A Handful Of Ingredients
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground dried ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup molasses
1 ½ cup water
It’s Pancakes This Christmas
Begin by whisking the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ginger, and cinnamon in a bowl. Now keep this aside. In a separate bowl, beat the egg with the vanilla and molasses until smooth. Add the water and mix well again. Now combine the flour mixture with the egg mixture and beat it well. Ensure that no lumps can spoil the texture of your pancakes.
Heat oil in a pan over a medium flame. Pour a ladleful of your pancake batter into the hot pan and cook until it turns a pretty golden brown on both the sides. Remove it from heat and serve with honey or maple syrup.
