Easy-Peasy Breakfast Recipes For Christmas Morning

 

A Christmas morning is usually a busy affair with kids running around to get decorate the Christmas tree and close ones coming over to celebrate the festivities. This leaves no time to prepare an extravagant time-consuming breakfast for the kids. We picked these easy to make breakfast recipes for you which can be go on the plate in no time.

 

1)    Baked French Toast With Blueberries

What you need

  • 8 large slices of thick and bread
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 5-6 eggs
  • butter for the pan
  • About 1 cup of blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

 

How to make it

Cut you’re a baguette into slices and then, cubes. The bread should be hearty enough to hold up well. Butter up a pan and put these cubes into it. Whip the eggs, vanilla and milk together. Then, pour the eggs mixture over the cubes and let them soak it up, overnight. Toss in the blueberries and cover it with foil. Bake it at 350F for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and again re bake for 15 minutes. Enjoy the yummy French toast with blueberries.

 

2)  Shortcut Danish Pastry

What you need

  • 1 can of crescent rolls
  • 1 tube of icing
  • 1 can of pie filling

 

How to make it

Grease your pan arrange and arrange crescent dough in a ring. Apply pie filling and roll the tips over the filing. Tuck the tips under the dough on the other side. Bake for 15-17 minutes at 375 degrees F. Serve with icing.

3)  Breakfast Pockets With Eggs, Ham And Cheese

What you need

  • 5-6 eggs
  • 8 balls of biscuit dough flattened
  • ½ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ cup of milk
  • sliced or grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 8 slices of ham

 

How to make it

Make scrambled eggs with spinach, pepper and salt. Fill a layer of cheese, eggs and ham into flattened biscuit dough. Pull all four sides of the dough up and fold them in to form a ball with filling in it. Bake them for 30 minutes at 350 degrees until they turn golden brown on the top. Cut each pocket from the middle before serving.
