Homemade Drinks That Will Help You Lose Weight
Losing weight without working out is only going to be a dream for most of the girls (including us!). The only way you can lose weight if you avoid the workout part is by eating healthy. Now, eating healthy is not easy to apply when you are a hard-core junk food lover. However, most of the diet plans will advise you to add more liquids to your diet; we would suggest you to do the same. When we say add more liquid, the first thing that comes to your mind is water, obviously. Let's make this a little more interesting, shall we?
Try these quick homemade drinks to make your diet a little more bearable.
Lemon And Orange Detox Water
Take your mother's favorite Tupperware bottle, fill it with water. Cut 1 large lemon into slices and peel an orange off. While you're peeling the orange, it is up to you if you want to cut those slices into half or slit them open. Put the slices of lemon and oranges into the water and let the water rest overnight. We would suggest you to drink the detox water once it's cooled. Research suggests that drinking cold water can actually help you lose weight and increase your metabolism rate.
I'm sure most of us have read memes on social media about how the only way to lose weight with green tea is if you go pluck it from the mountains by yourself. Trust us, it does work. You need to stop munching on those chips and definitely stop having cheat meals thrice a week!
Do not fall for the myth that you can have as many glasses of fruit juice as you want. Ideally, you should only consume 3 glasses of fruit juices a day. So what are you waiting for? Pick up your favorite fruit and juice it away!
Okay, we agree this is not on the interesting part, but losing weight isn't a piece of cake! ;) Start consuming a cup of black coffee (sans the sugar, of course) before your workout. It obviously won't taste good, but you will have to make your taste buds suffer, as black coffee helps you lose weight faster.
If you're tired of drinking fruit juices, try coconut water. But only stick to a glass or two per day. It is better to avoid coconut water if the potassium levels in your body are high.
Try adding these drinks to your daily diet and with time watch how they work like magic! Don't forget to let us know which drink you are adding to your diet!
