How To Pair A Statement Necklace With Your Outfit

We swear by a quote that television personality and fashion guru Lauren Conrad once made – Simple is the new black. Just like Lauren, we love to stay simple when it comes to fashion and often add just enough of a ‘surprise element accessory’. After all, fashion is comfort and beauty is in details. It is extremely important to pay careful attention to the details when dressing up for any event whatsoever. And the most important aspect of putting together a beautiful outfit is, (you guessed it) the accessories. Talking about accessories, a statement necklace is a favourite with us as it can add glamour to any simple outfit taking it from boring to interesting. So let’s take a look at how to style blingy statement necklaces and spruce up that everyday look.

Tribal statement necklace:

Tribal necklaces are my personal favourite. This silver coin necklace can be styled with so many different outfits, e.g. plain top with a plunging neckline or a bandhgala top. It isn’t essential to stick to the rules, we all have different styles and personalities so try and experiment and settle for what suits you. How about wearing a tribal statement neckpiece with a pair of denim hot pants and a rugged loose shirt knotted above the midriff? I also like the idea of styling a monochrome half sari with just this necklace and hair tied up in a chignon bun.

When it comes to accessorising, feel free to go as crazy as you can get, it will only add an element of glam to your outfit. Just remember one thing though: when using a statement accessory, less is more. You don’t want to wear a statement necklace with a pair of huge statement dangling earrings; that’s the biggest faux pas in fashion.
