Learn The Tricks To Stay Calm, Always...
Keeping calm in this hyperactive world might feel like a task. It is true to some extent that focusing all your energies in not losing your s**t is a task few can master. It doesn't necessarily mean switching off completely; instead, it means letting things pass, not for anyone else, but for your own peace of mind. Once you master the art, people will think of you as some sort of superhuman.
So, to keep the monkey mind in check and let the river of thoughts never aggravate itself, learn these tricks to stay calm.
1. Keep Working
As strange as it may sound, focusing on work can give you a great way out of the maddening train of thoughts. As they say, find what you love and let it kill you. Live with this philosophy and you'll find yourself calmer and satisfied than the Tom, Dick, and Harrys running around worried about the future. Oh, and might I add, taking breaks in between is also essential.

2. Just Sleep
Ah, good old sleep – the solution to all mind-related problems. When you sleep, you eventually end up blocking all things bothering you. Let your mind and body rest and energise themselves. Keep the technological marvels like cell phones, PCs, laptops, etc. as far away as possible and visit dreamland for a calmer you.

3. Seek Guidance
If you can't seem to calm your mind on your own, then get external help. With the app explosion happening, there are several virtual teachers who impart their knowledge online. If you have more time on your hands seek help from meditation gurus, perhaps the best thing you can do for yourself.
4. Go In The Arms Of Nature
Nature is a great healer. If you haven't learnt that already, then go out and experience it. Climb a mountain, go through nature trails, visit a beach and take in all the freshness that you can once in a while. It's a maddening world out there, and such excursions help calm the mind down. Going green is the need of the hour.
5. Eat With A Thought
Being mindful of your actions is good enough, but that shouldn't just extend to work. Keep a check on what you eat and how you eat. For instance, switch off the TV, don't read the newspaper, and no phone too. Give your mind the rest it needs. Talk to your family, have a good hearty laugh on the dinner table. Trust me, you'll be well on your way to a peaceful existence.
6. Sweat It Out
Sweating it out has its own benefits. Apart from the ripped body with which you can impress people, the mind also becomes sharper and calmer. I'm not exactly stating you pump some serious iron to achieve this. Regular light exercise routine can keep your mind in tune. The endorphins (happy hormones) released can help you and your mind relax and feel refreshed.

It has been noted that people who travel a lot (I'm not talking about business travels) generally tend to be happier in their lives. Don't get stuck up with a routine that'll turn your life into drag. Change it up by visiting new places every now and then. It could be as simple as a long drive to some place your father used to take you in your childhood. Energise your mind with those positive memories.
Truth is, the calmer you get the better it is for you and your near and dear ones. So, throw away the mind trash and usher in a new calmer chapter of your life.
