Nutella Stuffed Cookies

Every chocolate lover has the dream of waking up surrounded by massive jars of Nutella; actually, it’s just my dream. Cookies and Nutella are love individually, can you imagine how much love would you be surrounded by if you combined these heavenly foods? Yeah, I thought so. So, without delaying, let’s get bakin’!

This super easy recipe of Nutella stuffed cookies will serve 3-4 people (only you if you hide them in your secret food-saving spot!).

Ingredients

All Purpose Flour (Maida) – 2 cups

Eggs – 2

Nutella – ½ cup

Chocolate Chips – 1 cup

Butter – ½ cup

Sugar – 2/3 cup

Brown Sugar – ½ cup

Vanilla Extract – 1 teaspoon

Baking Soda – 1 teaspoon

Method

Begin by preheating the oven to 180 C. In a bowl, put in the butter and both the sugars and beat it with the help of an electric mixer until it is light and fluffy. Using an electric mixer is recommended because the consistency that we are looking for may not be achieved if you manually beat it. Add the eggs and vanilla extract. Continue beating it until all the ingredients have combined well.

In another bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and baking soda with the rest of the ingredients and the chocolate chips. Line the baking dish with a baking sheet or parchment paper so that the cookies can easily be transferred onto a plate.

Now, the size of the dough balls should depend on the size of the cookies you wish to have. So, be consistent when you’re scooping out the dough. After you’ve lined the dish and the dough is ready, scoop a spoonful of dough and flatten it out on your palm. Use a small teaspoon and put some Nutella in the middle. It depends on the amount of Nutella you want oozing out of your cookie. Now that you have placed the Nutella, fold it back up so as to cover the Nutella entirely.

Place the cookie dough balls on the baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes. The edges of the cookies should be golden brown. Once they’re done, let it cool for a little while before you serve it.
