Ombré patterns are everywhere. It basically refers to gradation of colour. These days you’ll see that ombré is incorporated in almost everything in our wardrobes, on a garment, on any type of fabric or even on hair and nails! A monochrome that shows it’s graduated variation in saturation of the colour.  A lot goes into the creation of the right ombré tone. Subtle and bold at the same time, ombre is the hottest trend in the market right now. And I feel it’s here to stay. So how to wear this trend right? With patience and a little bit of skill, almost any piece of ombre can create a palette of its own.

Ombré nails are a type of manicure in which a gradient effect is created. A light colour on the bottom of the nail gradually blends into a darker shade at the top or vice versa. This is another French technique of manicure where the nails are shaded with various tints of a solid colour. It could be a bit tricky to create at first, but practice makes perfect!

Why not! I absolutely love the idea of sporting ombré on my feet. The faded effect looks elegant and chic and the DIY versions are a bit edgy but still so classy! Make your own ombré shoes at home using the dip-dye technique and make all your friends jealous.

This trend has been around since a while when it comes to hair but it’s still hot. Ombré hair is sexy and requires minimal maintenance as the gradual tone of the colour needs hardly any re-work. Take a tip or two from JLo or Lauren Conrad who have completely nailed this hair trend with their gorgeously sombre, ombre locks. If you have been blessed with an Asian complexion – I’m jealous! Ombré goes best with a dusky complexion, especially if you opt for shades of mahogany brown, or dark chocolate going into a subtler dark blonde at the tips.
