I hate oats. Simply H-A-T-E them! Sure they’re healthy, but they’re just not my idea of a good breakfast. So what do you do when your nutritionist strictly (emphasis on the previous word) advises you have them every morning? Well, I totally dig on dosas, so I thought of adapting my dosa with some oats (just to make them a bit palatable for me). And that’s how I came up with the Oatmeal Dosa! A recipe that is really simple, healthy and quick – and gives you super delicious savory crepes!

Method: Prepare your batter by mixing all ingredients in a large bowl, except for the oil. Let it stand for 15 minutes. Heat a non-stick pan and drizzle some oil on it. Since this is a healthy recipe, make sure to use minimal oil. Next, check the consistency of your dosa batter – it should be thin and runny. Add a ladleful of dosa batter on your pan and spread it using a spatula. Once it turns golden brown, flip it and cook the other side for a minute or two. Your yummy, crispy oats dosas are ready!
