Skin Care Tips To Follow When You're At Work
A major part of our daily lives involves sitting for hours at a stretch in an air-conditioned environment with the stress of meeting deadlines and making presentations. We may fail to realise it, but our hectic schedules take a toll on the health of our skin. Plus, the fact that we're dead tired by the end of the day doesn't allow us to treat our skin with the ideal night care routine. Result – Tired, damaged skin!
But who said you can't take care of your skin when you're at work? These skin care tips are all you need to ensure that your beauty doesn't suffer amidst all the work pressure!
Use A Facial Mist
Our skin tends to become dry, thanks to the prolonged time that we spend in an air-conditioned room. So, to keep the moisture level intact, opt for a good hydrating facial mist and spritz it at least twice during your daily work time. We'd also advise you to use as little makeup as possible so that reapplying becomes easier.
Breaks Are Important
Your eyes need rest from all that screen-gazing. Take a break of 5 minutes after every hour and step out for some fresh air. If that's not possible, just close your eyes and meditate sitting right on your seat!
Keep sipping on your bottle of water while you work. You should ideally be drinking around 2 litres of water during a day of work. You could also try to pack in a flavour with the help of oranges or lemon.
You know the items which are gonna follow in this not-to-eat list, right? Caffeine, junk foods, and sodas may seem like the ultimate stress-buster, but remember that you're not doing any good to your body.

Moisturisation Is Necessary
Your handbag always needs to have a pocket-friendly moisturising cream, along with a nourishing lip balm. Your lips, hands, elbows, and heels need moisture throughout the day.
Cleanliness, All The Way!
Make it a point to clean your computer, desk, and chair with anti-bacterial wipes before you start work every morning. These places act as a haven for dust and bacteria and are the main reason behind frequent skin outbreaks.
Now no more excuses about a hectic work schedule, right?
