Super Easy No-Cook Recipes For Kids


Kids love to snack at odd hours, whether it’s during the day or in the middle of the night! This Children’s Day, surprise your kids with some delicious and easy-to-make snacks that are also healthy. Of course, you don’t have to tell them that! Here are some super easy no-cook recipes that you can easily whip up for your children at any time of the day.

No bake snack bars:

2 cups pitted dates

3/4 cup cashews

1/4 cup nut butter (peanut butter or hazelnut butter)

1/2 cup shredded coconut

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

1 pinch salt

Method: Toss everything into a food processor and blend until the mixture is nice and clumpy with a few chopped up bits of dates and nuts. Flatten out the mixture on a plate lined with butter paper. Use your hands to firmly press the mixture into the plate evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Remove from the fridge and cut into pieces using a sharp knife. Delicious and healthy snack bars are ready within minutes! A quick snack for kids to fill their pockets and run back to their game.

Healthy dairy-free banana-pumpkin smoothie:

3/4th cup almond milk

1/2 cup coconut milk

1 cup pumpkin puree

2 tsp honey

2-3 ripe bananas

Ice cubes

Method: Toss all the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. How easy was that!

A small bottle of pizza sauce

Grated mozzarella cheese

Toppings of your choice

Readymade pizza base

Butter paper

Method: Spread one tablespoon of pizza sauce on your pizza base and arrange your favourite toppings on it. Sprinkle some mozzarella cheese on top and cover with butter paper and pop it in the freezer for 30 minutes. Remove after 30 minutes and slice into 8 pieces.  A warm closure would be saying something like – The kids will have a field day curling and relishing the gooey cheese in every bite. And a cheese treat is good for their ‘hungry teeth’!
