Super Easy, Super Yummy Watermelon Desserts To Try This Summer


There’s nothing better than a bowl of cool watermelon to quench your thirst on a hot summer day! But if your taste buds easily get bored, try these interesting and delicious recipes of watermelon desserts and you’ll want to make them every day!

Watermelon popsicles:

5 cups watermelon chunks, seeded

½ cup sugar

1 pinch salt

Method: Puree the watermelon chunks with the sugar and salt in a food processor. Pour the juice in popsicle moulds and freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight. That’s it! Yummy watermelon popsicles in a jiffy!

5 cups watermelon chunks

½ cup heavy cream

¼ cup sugar

A pinch of salt

Method: Pulse the watermelon or finely chop them using a sharp knife. Transfer the chopped watermelon to a re-sealable bag and freeze. In a food processor or an ice cream maker, blend the cream, salt and sugar until smooth and creamy. Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and freeze for 2 hours (or place the food processor bowl in the freezer). Remove after two hours and blend again for 10 seconds. Now add the frozen watermelon pieces and mix well using a spatula. Freeze again for 10-15 minutes, and your ice cream is ready!

8 cups chopped watermelon, seeded

1 cup water

1 cup sugar

2 tbsp lemon juice

Method: In a saucepan, boil the sugar and water until the sugar dissolves; set this aside. Puree the watermelon in a blender and transfer it to the saucepan. Add lemon juice and mix well. Pour into individual bowls or martini glasses and freeze until firm.
