Irrespective of how crazy I am about eggs, I know there are people who are not so fond of it. And then there are vegetarians too! So today, I thought of improvising a classic egg recipe in order to suit people who aren’t egg-lovers.
Hi-5 if a French toast is something that you can have for breakfast for the rest of your life! But for those who maintain distance with eggs, here’s a French toast recipe that’s doesn’t contain eggs! Confused? Read on guys.
Grab These Ingredients
½ cup milk
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 slices of white bread
4 teaspoons of butter
Your fave fruit, sliced
But Where’s The Egg?
Begin by preheating a non-stick pan. In a bowl, combine the milk, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Whisk it well until the cornstarch is dissolved. Add a spoon of butter to the heated pan. Now dip both the sides of a slice of bread into the mixture and place it in the pan. Cook each side for around 2-3 minutes until it turns golden brown.
Now once you’re done with the second slice, top your unique French toasts with slices of your fave fruit, loads of maple syrup, and a dash of powdered sugar!
Egg-lovers, bookmark this ‘coz you never know when you might run out of eggs on a Sunday morning!
