4 Places Where You Should Avoid Using Your Smartphones
Smartphone have become such an integral part of our daily lives that we often find it hard to put them down. In fact, times have gotten so bad that it's common to see people stumbling around like zombies while gawking at their screens. But wait, it gets worse! If being a smartphone zombie wasn't bad enough, these "zombies" cause much mayhem at public places too. Let's take a closer look at this phenomenon that's slowly making its way to theatres and supermarkets near you.
If you want to stay immune to this horrible epidemic, we have a cure. Simply follow our little tutorial on places you should avoid using your smartphones and you along with others around you should remain sane.
At The Movies
One of the most annoying things one can face is trying to enjoy a movie, while your neighbour's phone keeps on pinging and that irritating screen light flashes in your face. It is really annoying when people use their phones at a movie! It goes without saying that it is really bad etiquette to have your phone on during a movie that people pay good money to take some time out and enjoy. Besides, nobody wants to know what how many pies you baked or what you cooked for dinner.

While Crossing The Road
If you weren't already checking Facebook on that long commute home, crossing the road is probably not the best time to update your status! Your carelessness and zombified strut could not only land you on a stretcher, but may also put innocent motorists at risk. So remember, the next time you're crossing the road, make sure to put your phone down and look both ways. Unless you see the above sign; then by all means continue texting as you cross!
At Churches, Temples And Mosques
Now that everyone owns a smartphone, it was only a short time before the kids start playing Candy Crush at places of worship. An all new fad amongst teens is texting, gaming and checking Facebook during prayers at the aforementioned places. Not only is it disrespectful, but it can be very distracting to other people around who are trying their best to concentrate on praying. If you are one of these people – please put that phone in silent, tuck it in your pocket, and pray that the God's forgives you for your ignorance.

In Bed
Bed is synonymous with sleep. And that's exactly what you should do in bed. If you're the type of person who checks your phone all night long instead of sleeping, stop it right away! Studies show that the light emitted from our phone's screensuppresses the production of melatonin. Melatonin is the hormone secreted by our pineal gland that controls our sleep cycles. And when a person's melatonin levels are messed up, that person is likely to face insomnia and other such sleeping disorders. Besides this, let's not forget that using your phone in bed can be very annoying for your partner who is trying to catch some Z's.
Just follow these simple rules and to ensure you don't join the horde of smartphone obsessed zombies plaguing our roads, theatres and places of worship.
