
A Simple And Quick Chicken Soup Recipe With A Spicy Kick!
Who doesn't love a spicy, tangy midnight snack? But creating something from scratch is one hell of a task. So, in the interest of all our lazy, midnight-snacking readers, the following is a nutritious, diet-friendly, quick chicken soup recipe for the lazy chef in you.

Ingredients:
Any kind of boneless chicken (finely diced)
A large onion (sliced)
Green chilies (finely chopped)
Chopped capsicum (optional)
Chopped mushrooms (optional)
Water (if needed)
3 tbsp tomato puree
1 tbsp whole cream
Dried oregano
Pepper
Red chili powder
Turmeric powder
1 tsp aamchoor
1 tsp wheat flour
1 tsp meat masala
Ghee
Salt to taste

Let The Culinary Madness Begin:
Boil the diced chicken for 5-10 minutes, on a full flame. Remove the chicken from the stock, but don't throw the stock away! Heat a deep bottomed pan (kadhai) and add some ghee in it. Now, put the green chilies, onions, mushrooms, capsicum and tomato puree and sauté for around 2 minutes. Add the red chili powder, turmeric, meat masala, aamchoor, salt, pepper and dried oregano, and mix well.
Now, add the whole cream and flour to the mixture and mix. You will get a thick paste-like mixture. Add the chicken to it and mix well. Taste this mixture to see if your desired amount of spiciness is there or not. After modifying the spices as per your need, it is now time to add the chicken stock to it.

Once you add the stock, the whole mixture will get a soupy texture. In case you want a broth-like soup, you can add water and salt to it, and if you like the creamy variety, the stock will be enough. Now, put a lid on the pan and let the mixture boil for 5-10 minutes, depending on the desired thickness and the tenderness of the chicken. Once done, serve it in a deep bowl, and garnish with coriander.
