Bars In Mumbai That Offer Cheap Booze For All The Broke People Out There
For all the young, wild and broke people out there, here are some places in Mumbai where you'll find drinks and food at the cheapest prices in the world so expensive. Though a few places are not so famous, some you might be very familiar. With a slim pocket money and/or a fixed budget, it's not easy to find a place where you can chill with your friends without burning a hole in your wallet. So, here's a list of a few good places where you can get all the cool vibes at a low price.
1) Yacht Bar (Bandra)
Many will know this for its filthy, dirt-cheap kind off the vibe. The old school bar is owned by a Mangalorean gentleman, who has seen generations grow. If you want to grab a beer and the famous Masala Kheema, this one's it!
2) Café General And Stores (Girgaum Chowpatty)
Imagine yourself in a seat with a chilled beer or a peg of rum in your hand, with the view of the sea and an amazing playlist. Like the sound of it? No, you're not in the Bahamas, but you can live this experience here in Mumbai at Café General And Stores, Girgaum Chowpatty. Thank us later! ;)
3) PJ's Bar (Bandra)
This place is located on the Hill Road, Bandra, which is known for its good ambiance and cheap drinks. The only weird thing about this place is the entry fee, on weekdays it costs 50 and on weekends, its 100 bucks. But if you see it in a positive way, it filters the crowd for you to enjoy your drink peacefully.
4) Bottles (Andheri)
You can say this place is a haven for all the college students, as this little thing serves the cheapest drinks (Rum for Rs. 80) with a good plethora of food. I'd say stick more to finger food with drinks otherwise, it's a quite average place. The place is small so it might feel a bit cramped for big groups.
5) Alps (Colaba)
Fancied on the front is a big red sign saying "Alps Restaurant". This bar gives great food and chilled beer for 40 years now. As it's located in the elite SoBo area, you'll see a lot of tourists filled in, with the locals and students. Do you know what's the highlight of this one? The Alps is WiFi enabled.
It's time for some cheap thrills, guys! Got your weekend getaways? ;)
