
Have A Hearty Breakfast With This Easy Shakshouka Recipe

Try this scrumptious and easy shakshouka recipe yourself!
Ingredients:
2 cloves of garlic
½ teaspoon ground cumin (jeera)
½ medium bell pepper aka capsicum (red or yellow)
1 small onion
1 small hot chili
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
3 eggs
200gm juicy tomatoes (smashed)
1 teaspoon white wine or Apple cider vinegar
Salt and sugar to taste
Let's Make Some Breakfast:
Place a frying pan or skillet on medium heat and pour in 1 tablespoon of refined vegetable oil. Add finely chopped onion and strips of capsicum into the pan and stir for 5 minutes. Now, add the chili, cumin powder and chopped garlic into the mixture. Fry all of this for another minute and add the smashed tomatoes along with their juice. You can also throw in some thinly sliced zucchini into the pan if you like it. Now let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes without putting the lid on. Next, pour one teaspoon of cider and salt and sugar to taste. Mix it all together, and crack three eggs into it without scrambling them. Cook the eggs on low heat till they settle down well on the pan for about 10-15 minutes. If you want, you can also cook this in a 200 degree preheated oven.
This delicious breakfast dish can be served with toasty pita breads, bread or chapattis. A glass of orange juice with some healthy shakshouka is all you need to start your day!
