Healthy Low-Calorie Salad Dressings That Are Tasty Too!
Okay, so here's a confession – I hate salads! It's like I just don't understand how people fill their tummies by pretending that a plate of salad can cover up for a full meal. No wonder I don't lose weight! ;)
But yes, I do have friends who are more on the fitness-conscious side than I am. I have seen them painfully making up their mind to opt for the salad-way-of-living, but eventually they are stuck on that one question – How do you prepare a salad dressing that's healthy and doesn't gross out at the first bite itself?
I know there must a number of people who are puzzled about the choice of salad dressings. So, TBD is here with some healthy salad dressings that are tasty too! Shall we begin?

Olive Oil & Lemon Juice Dressing
Place your greens in a bowl, squeeze fresh lemon juice, and drizzle a few spoons of olive oil over the top. Sprinkle salt and pepper according to your taste and toss up your salad!
Low-Fat Cheese Dressing
Mix ½ cup of yoghurt, 1 spoon of apple cider vinegar, a few drops of lemon juice, and low-fat cheese crumbles. Refrigerate your dressing before use so that the flavours blend into each other.

Lemon Chia Dressing
Combine ½ cup olive oil with ½ spoon of chia seeds (sabza), and a liberal squeeze of lemon juice. This ready-to-use dressing can easily spice up a bland salad!
Tomato Paprika Dressing
Slit the bottom of 3 ripe tomatoes and boil them in water for around a minute. When they cool down, peel their skin, quarter them, and discard the seeds. Blend them along with 3 spoons of vinegar, 1 spoon of sugar, 1 chopped garlic clove, ½ spoon paprika, and a few drops of olive oil. Season your dressing with salt and pepper.
Cucumber Yoghurt Dressing
Blend 1 peeled and chopped cucumber, 3 spoons of yoghurt, 2 spoons of olive oil, 1 spoon of vinegar, salt, and pepper. Store this tangy salad dressing in your refrigerator and enjoy for a week!
