Here's How Hope Aur Hum Is Giving Us Real Hopes
Yet another brilliant movie from Bollywood releasing this Friday, ‘Hope Aur Hum' - an Indian hindi family drama movie. Simple but hard hitting is what the movie really is, the story flows in a way that on every turn it leaves us with great lessons to learn and accept in our lives. It isn't another commercial movie for which Bollywood is actually famous for! Hope Aur Hum is a light-hearted film which tells us that you might not get everything that you desire and that's okay. There are many relatable things in Hope Aur Hum. The joy of getting to know someone, our dependence on materialist things, the fears that we've had in our childhood are a few of them. Here are few points that made us feel why this film is different and how it is a new making of Bollywood.
Firstly, if you haven't, watch the trailer here:
1) Age doesn't define you
Adults too act like kids and that is okay. Being aware of your age is one thing but to enjoy the little things or experience the world still being a kid is important too. Not only kids are mischievous but adults too, which sometime is a good thing. So don't be disheartened next time when someone tells you to ‘grow up'.
2) Perform or be ready to be replaced
You need to keep growing, you need to be active and performing. If you don't keep up, someone will come along the way and replace you, may it be your job, your relationship, ANYTHING.
3) Things happen when they are meant to happen
Nothing will go according to your wish and time. Things happen at their own time, which is the right time for you aswell, you just don't know it yet! You just need to keep working towards it patiently and the rest will be on their way towards you.
4) Love people, not things
Materialistic love is a waste, loving other people, your family/friends is what will keep you happy in your life. They will support you, cherish you and will help you at every point of your life. Being in love with the assets you acquire will not take you anywhere in life, but it will make you lonelier than before.
5) Be accountable for your own mistakes and correct them
FACE YOUR FEARS! When you make a mistake, it is okay, you're only human. But to not rectify is inhuman. You may not know but others may suffers cause of it. You may be scared to own it, out of embarrassment or anything, but to overcome your fear and conquering it will make you more at peace than anything else.
