Here's How To Handle A Person Who's Going Through A Break-Up
Have you gone through a heartbreak lately? Or any of your family member? Umm... a friend, maybe? Well, if breakups are a part and parcel of your life, then we have a solution for your problems. The feeling of locking yourself in the room, absolutely doing nothing great out of your time, just sitting and sobbing in front of your friends, crying and crying over petty issues repeatedly IS OLD! It's okay, guys. We know a heartbreak is almost like dying and nothing can change this, but instead of making yourself feel more miserable, we've got something great for you in our kitty.
If relationships are bad, then breakups are worse. In every relationship, everyone tends to give more than 100% to the person you love, and when this ends on a sour note, all we are left with a heavy heart, teary eyes, gulp in the throat and a wobbling stomach. If love gave you butterflies in your tummy, break-ups take away a lot from you, rip you apart, and change you and your perception towards everything. Well, we are here to help you get over this awful feeling and move on with your life, as, guys, shit happens! And for a few, it happens on a regular basis! ;)
Here are a few things one can help that person who just crushed their heart without thinking twice.
Send them chocolates:
One can absolutely do this without any hesitation. Chocolates will always take away worries from your loved one, and during this phase, they really need some sort of sweetness in their life. :)
Take them out:
Be it a restaurant or a discotheque, just get them out of their room and let them live life to the fullest, instead of sobbing over whatever happened.
Make them meet new people:
This will not only help them to cope with the heartbreak but also socializing helps a person to deal with the problems. The more they interact, the better it is for them.
Movies and gigs:
The person, whoever it is, take them for a movie of their favorite star or go for a live performance of their favorite artist. This will surely make you guys better friends.
Throw a surprise breakup party:
Who don't like parties? Liquor, music, people, and that ambiance, it is just a perfect fit for the people who have gone through heartbreaks and also, who are planning to get along with new people.
Catch up with the old friends:
If the person who just broke up is not keen on meeting new people, getting along with the old friends is never a bad idea. They know it all, and one really doesn't need to explain every aspect of the ex-relationship.
Just let them be:
At times, to help them out, we end up forcing them, which only aggregates the situation. We all know that breakups are not cool, and all we can do is give them their space.
Don't fake console:
Come on! One should never do this. No matter how much you hate that person, consoling someone just to act nice is really not a good idea. Not at this moment at least.
Go on! Help that special one to get over a heartbreak. You know, all that that person has, is you. Don't forget that. :)
