
Horror Movies To Look Forward To In 2018
Love the feeling when your heart's racing and you're on the edge of your seat? Then you're definitely a big fan of horror movies. We saw a great number of horror movies in 2017 and we expect a whole new level of scary this year. Something that can beat movies like Get Out, It, Annabelle Creation and so on. So, here's a list of horror movies releasing this year, get your popcorn ready and prepare yourself to be scared as hell!
1) The Nun
Fifth installment to The Conjuring series, is "The Nun" directed by Corin Hardy. The movie's a spin off to The Conjuring 2, which to be honest made us all be scared of nuns. The film is scheduled for release on September 7, 2018. Sadly, we may not be seeing the famous demon investigators Ed and Lauren in this one.
2) The House With A Clock On It's Wall
This movie is a book adaption, a gothic novel intended for child readers, written by John Bellairs. This upcoming Eli Roth film has a terrific cast including Cate Blanchett, Kyle MacLachlan and Jack Black. It has a very interesting storyline, an orphan who moves to live in the house of his mysterious uncle Jonathan Barnavelt (Jack Black). His uncle is a wizard and Lewis has to aid him in locating a clock with the power to bring about the end of the world. It's set to release in September this year.
3) Halloween
Everyone remembers the scary old white masked man that still haunts our dreams, the movie Halloween is making a come back and you know the best part? It stars Jamie Lee Curtis. The new movie will continue the story 40 years after the events from the first film in the franchise. The original "Halloween" is still considered one of the classics and we only have high expectations from the new one.
4) A Quiet Place
Imagine the feeling, you're hiding in a closet and there's a murderer in your house. Now, if you make a noise you're gonna get caught and be killed. Well that's the plot of this movie. This John Kraskinski and his wife, Emily Blunt starrer is a fresh take on horror movies. The family lives in a world full of monster, and if you make a sound, you DIE. So try not to make any noise!
5) The Field Guide To Evil
This feature-length anthology horror film is being directed by eight horror filmmakers from around the world. Among them include the directors of recent great horror films "Goodnight Mommy," "Veronica" and "The Lure." "The Field Guide to Evil" is said to be a film about "myths, lore and folktales that have captivated, galvanized, and frightened communities throughout history. "
