First of all, it is always recommended to have a first aid kit on you. In this rough, busy world, people keep getting injured. But during certain times when you do not have access to a first aid kit, here are a few things you can do with some makeshift items, in case of injuries without first aid.
Use Super Glue To Seal Small Cuts And Blisters:
Whether you're cooking at home or even trekking in the hills, keep some super glue handy. In case you end up with small cuts and blisters, and no first aid is around, put a little dab of super glue on the wound. Firstly, ensure that the wound has been cleaned and the bleeding has stopped. After that, put a little glue and spread it on the affected area before it dries. The glue will create a mesh that temporarily acts as replacement skin until the wound is healed. Though the glue is non-toxic, it may cause a bit of skin irritation.

Secure An Absorbent Material On Wounds:
In this situation, step one is to clean the wound. You could even do that with just water as the cleaning agent. For step two, get a clean, absorbent material like paper towels, napkins or cloth strips; but ensure they are clean. It is important as you do not want to let the wound get infected. And for all the women, if getting any of the above is not possible, even sanitary pads or tampons serve this function very well. For step 3, get any kind of tape. Use the tape to keep the material stable on the wound. If there is no tape, a piece of cloth can be used as well, but do not tie the cloth too tight, as it may strain the wound or cause loss of blood circulation.
How To Stabilize A Broken Bone:
Broken bones are tricky business, as you can cause more damage than heal it, if you do the following improperly. When it comes to closed broken bones—that is, injuries where a bone is broken, but does not break through the skin—the first thing to be done is stabilizing the wound. DO NOT try to straighten the bone, if you can avoid it. Even though it is a part of the healing, the bones inside the body are very sharp and can cut blood vessels, muscles, and cause major damage if they're set wrong. If the bone is set correctly, you will have to fashion yourself a splint made up of two sturdy sticks. These sticks have to be placed on both sides of the affected part, and have to be fastened tightly with a rope or cloth. Also, ice the area as much as you can.
How To Soothe Burns:
The first thing that you have to do here is cool down the affected area. Since burns retain a lot of heat, run the affected area under cool (not freezing) water. DO NOT pop any boils that may have formed due to the burn. When the burn cools down, it is essential to wrap the area with something that does not stick. Here, you'll have to use paper towels or a piece of cloth. If it is a second-degree burn or higher, you should immediately get professional help. A small second-degree burn is still manageable, but rush to the hospital if it is a bigger one. For chemical burns, clean them up depending on their nature. If it's a powder, remove it with a dry brush. If it's a wet chemical, wash it off by running it under water.

How To Relieve Aches Without Medicines:
Aches can occur due to a variety of reasons. Although the remedies that we are going to give below may not completely kill the ache, they will reduce it significantly for sure. Although drinking water cannot relieve this pain, a habit of drinking water throughout the day may stop this pain on a long term. Also, eat foods rich in Vitamin C, as they are known to reduce the pain. In many cases, aches are a result of Vitamin D deficiency as well, so make it a point to regularly eat foods rich in Vitamin D as well.
