Instead of partying try these things this weekend
Many people don't know this secret but you CAN have fun without alcohol! You don't need to be drunk to have a memorable night or weekend or go out partying with friends. There are so many other things you can do, alone or with friends that'll get you a weekend packed with fun and great times. Many times you get bored of drinking as well. As one day, adultered hit you, you start hating hangovers and just feel like barfing even with a single thought of alcohol. Well, this one's for everyone who wants to have a great weekend but can't think of anything else than to attend a party.
1) Get out of Dodge
Sometimes leaving town for a weekend is exactly what you need. You could go to the beach, to the city, or even camping in the woods. Trips like these are fun, relieving, and oh so refreshing.
2) Go bowling
This is one of those things that you may throw around jokingly about doing. But actually, do it. Bowling is a great way to spend a weekend night with the friends, even if it's just to mess around and eat some kick a** nachos. Sounds like a good time to me.
3) Play Station
Don't want to go out? Want to sit, relax, eat and chit-chat? Play Station is for you then! Find cafes near you that have play station or X-Box facilities and get going.
4) Have a movie night
Don't forget candy, soda and popcorn… otherwise, your movie will taste like NOTHING. That'd be gross. You can even binge watch any series, maybe F.R.I.E.N.D.S.
5) Get a pizza and play cards
Poker, spot it, phase 10, crazy eights, hearts, UNO, blackjack, spoons, etc. Do we need to tell you to get a ‘Cheese Burst Pizza'? Didn't think so :P
6) Explore your town
You probably haven't even seen or heard of HALF the things to do in your city. Try the different street food, meet tourists that are visiting your town, make new friends, just GET OUT THERE!
7) Go to open mic night
You don't have to participate by any means, but going and hearing the talented (and not so talented) locals is a great alternative to going out. Between the good music, good coffee, and some probably pretty great people, you've found yourself in a much better environment than a fraternity basement.
So tell us, what are your weekend plans? :D
