Learn How To Not Worry About Others Opinions
To be liked and be accepted is something that everyone strives for. Some take it a little too seriously. So much so that they forget their own sense of self-worth; and once low self-esteem sets in, problems are bound to follow. However, there are ways in which you can learn to ignore all these negative thoughts and sculpt a happy life. Take out your notepads and learn the tricks to not worry about what others have to say.
1. Understanding The Urge To Care
To solve any problem, it is necessary to get to the root of it. Similarly, when you are mentally bashing up yourself because of others' opinion about you, it is necessary to understand when and why of it. The problem lies in the culture that sets the norm for what is good and what is bad. The surge of social media activities has resulted in the popularity contest going to an all new level. The sad part is that people have made it a point to shame others to get ahead in the race.
Most of you feel the urge to fall in line and ape others' behaviour, thus leading to a stressful situation. So, when success doesn't follow, the cycle of negativity rolls on.

2. Others Thoughts Isn't Your Business
Now that you've understood the root cause, it's time you learnt the next step. Whatever others think of you can only gain power if YOU let it. The quicker you understand this fact, the better it is. Take a look at all the legendary people in the world, even Lord Jesus wasn't spared from criticism. Calmly go about your work and enjoy the fruits of your hard work later. Remembering that you can't control others' actions is a sure-shot way to achieving peace of mind.
3. Channel Your Anger
It is perfectly all right to be angry. Some people just find a way to get under your skin, no matter what. The challenge though lies in channelling your anger. There are two paths to take – either you let the anger create you or let it destroy you. Assuming you are smart, you'd pick the former. Pick an activity – paint, dance, play – and complete it in such a way that it releases all the pent up anger. Stop worrying!

4. Take A Healthy Dose Of Self-Love
The point here is not to become a megalomaniac. By self-love we mean, reassuring yourself with positive thoughts, and being optimistic that all is going to be well; this is the final step in the transformation. But, like most things in life, this step is a slow and gradual one. Patience is the name of the game. Do things that make you happy and bit by bit you'll get more attached to your own opinions than that of others.
Forgive yourself for the mistakes of the past and let a new you shine out amongst the crowd.
