Must-Know Quick Fixes To Common Nail Polish Problems
We all love painting our fingernails and trying on new and different types of nail arts on them. While some of us are complete pros who don't make any mistakes, others like me are not. I end up smudging the nail paint and getting it on my cuticles all the time, which, frankly, is really annoying. If it annoys you too, then here are quick fixes to common nail polish problems that will make your life a lot easier.
So the three commonest of common problems while applying nail paint are smudging it, getting it on your cuticles and chipping it off once dry. All these can totally ruin your manicured look. So here is how you can tackle these problems:
What you will need:
Nail Paint Remover
Thin-bristled Paint Brush
Transparent Top Coat
What To Do:
Chipping Nail Paint
When you realize than you have chipped your nail paint on one finger nail, don't worry. No need to redo your entire manicure again. Simply clean your nail with water or a wet cloth and let it dry. Now grab your bottle of nail polish of the same colour that you have on your nails and just paint on the chipped out bit. Let it dry. Apply one layer of transparent top coat on this. If you like, you could do a total of two transparent top coat layers. There you go! As good as new!
Smudged Nail Paint
This is probably the most irritating thing ever, especially after you have taken a hell lot of pains to get the perfect smooth finish on your nails. But worry not, you can salvage this situation too, that to quite easily. Just take some nail paint remover on your index finger, and with a light hand dab and lightly rub it over the smudge. This will make the surface of the smudge smooth, so that you can easily re-apply a layer of your nail paint! Tada! No one will know what went on there!
Getting Nail Paint On Cuticles
This happens to me without fail every time I apply nail polish! What to do then when this happens? Super easy! Pick up your thin-bristled paint brush and dip it into your bottle of nail polish remover and then brush it on, on your nail paint-covered cuticles. This should get out all the nail paint covering your cuticles easily without harming your manicure!
