New Hair Care Trend Alert – Reverse Washing
Conditioner is super duper important for your hair, and we are sure you are well aware of it. Just washing your hair with shampoo, doesn't give the same texture and effect to hair that conditioning your hair does. However, now the usual routine of shampooing your hair and then following it with conditioner is slowly changing, and there is a new method in town, called reverse shampoo washing.
So what exactly is reverse washing?
Reverse washing is the method which requires you to condition your hair before you shampoo them, as opposed to the rinse-shampoo-rinse-condition-rinse method.
So why do we reverse wash?
The usual method is good for your hair, however, recent findings from those who have tried this method suggest that the reverse washing method works wonders for your hair that conditioning post shampooing does not. If your hair is thin and limp or even prone to getting oily, then this method can really make a difference for you.

Is it going to cost a lot?
No, absolutely not. While you always have the option of upgrading your hair wash products to more professional and costlier brands, you can perform this method with your regular pair of shampoo and conditioner too.
Here are some tips to make the most of the reverse wash method:
Make sure your hair is properly drenched in water before you apply your conditioner. If it your hair is dry or only partly wet then the conditioner will not distribute evenly through your hair.
Apply conditioner from root to tip for best results.
Leave the conditioner in your hair for at least 5-10 minutes or longer if you prefer so.
When time is up, don't rinse your hair. Instead, shampoo your conditioned hair the way you normally wash your hair. Essentially, you are using the conditioner to wash the shampoo out of your hair. (Rinsing away the conditioner before shampooing might result in your hair becoming dry, which is something you don't want)
Air dry or blow dry as usual.
Try the reverse washing method yourself to see noticeable differences in the overall texture and bounce of your hair. We love this method, try it out and let us know if you loved it too :)
