If you're a woman born in India, you might have heard lines similar to ‘We are your parents; we know which career is best for you' or ‘Let your husband decide whether he wants you to work after marriage or not'. It was easy to suppress the dreams of women in India but fortunately the times are changing now. The mindset of a regular Indian woman is changing and we couldn't have been happier. More and more women are breaking stereotypes exploring their dreams when it comes to their career. Independent and established women are a living proof of India's progress as a nation. This Women's Week, Deepika Padukone uses her exclusive fashion label ‘All About You' to find out about the idea of a perfect professional life of an average working Indian woman. Seven women get chatting all about aspirations and we can't wait to hear.

What is your idea of a perfect job? Your answers might relate to what these women have to say. While one of them says that a job is perfect when it allows you to grow a lot, another exclaims that a satisfying sleep at night indicates that you've done something worthwhile during the day. Another woman quips that it's you're certainly doing the perfect job when it's exciting to head to work every morning. We could not agree more!
When asked about their idea of professional success, one of them honestly states that her pinnacle of success would be when she makes a good leader and is able to bring a difference to the lives of others. Another woman does not relate success to monetary benefits and says that she would consider herself successful when she's respected and appreciated because of her work and not side-lined because of her gender. Well said!

Where do you picture yourself in another 10-15 years? Tricky one! Let's hear what they have to say. While one woman states that she sees herself appointed as the CEO of an established company, another gleefully answers that she wants to be a recognized dancer in the next ten years. But one woman had us nodding enthusiastically! She says that she wants to quit her job after ten years and pack her bags for a world tour! That is surely one unanimous answer :)
