Coming back to what I'm gonna make today – delicious oats cheela! Oh come on, don't make that face…I know you don't like anything that is even remotely related to oats. High five…because even I don't! But what if I tell you that this dish will be your exemplary form of oats? With the perfect balance of taste and health, this is one of the best dishes you could start your day with. Time to cut the jabber and head to work…are you ready?
Gather These Items
½ cup oats
2 cups millet flour (baajre ka atta)
¼ cup wholewheat flour (atta)
3 onions, chopped
1 teaspoon ginger paste
2 green chillies, chopped
1 spoon cumin seeds (jeera)
Salt
Oil

Oats, It's time To Transform You!
Bring out a big bowl and mix oats, millet flour and wholewheat flour. Add water to create the correct consistency; the batter should be easy-to-pour and smooth. Cover and keep it aside for half an hour.
After thirty minutes, add chopped onions, ginger paste, green chillies, cumin seeds and salt. Mix the batter well.
Heat a little oil in a non-stick tawa. Pour a ladle of batter and spread it in a circular shape. Make sure that the cheela is neither too thick, nor too thin. Cook on one side for some time. Flip it over and drizzle a few drops of oil around the sides of your cheela. Cook until both the sides turn golden brown. Remove from flame and serve hot with a spicy dip or tomato ketchup.
