The fact that exercise keeps you healthy is pretty obvious. However, a recent study shows that exercising can actually help slow down your aging process. Almost any and every amount of physical activity helps slow the aging process of your cells. Even if you take a walk for about 30 minutes a day, you will notice the difference in no time.
By exercise, I don't mean that you have to take a gym membership and burn a huge hole in your pocket, you can even work out at home. Remember, every drop counts! So, instead of taking a membership, begin by taking a walk in your garden area, or start working out at home. Get started with basic exercises like sit-ups and floor pushups.
Any sort of physical activity can help preserve telomeres. Before you start wondering what telomeres are, let me tell you, they determine the age of a cell. They're like caps at the end of DNA strands and scientists can determine the biological age of a cell by measuring a telomere's length.

It works like an energy drink, and trust me, there's no better adrenaline rush than the one you get after finishing a heavy workout. It will not only leave you energized at the end of the workout session but will also make you feel a lot better and younger. How you think of yourself is exactly what you look like to the others.
