You Can Now Choose Fabrics According To Your Body Type
When you go shopping, you want to make sure that what you wear suits you and your body type perfectly. You ever had a day where you did not find the perfect outfit that fits the occasion, or has a great material and suits your body type? Well, most of us have it every time we head out to shop! It's nothing to be insecure about; it just means that we are too picky and part perfectionists. Now, who doesn't like being a perfectionist? ;)
For times like these, you gotta know the perfect material that suits your body type and how to style it.
Rectangle Body Type
This body type is generally of the skinny-minnies out there. Now, if you have very less fat on you, you need to understand that wearing skin-tight clothes will only show off your skinny structure a lot more. So, spandex and other body-hugging materials are definitely a no-go. You need to opt for fabrics that will add volume to your look. Choose frilly fabrics like cotton, satin, linen, and silk.
Another option is to add smart layers to enhance your curves more.

If you have a well-toned body, the one that is similar to an hourglass, you should definitely wear clothes that accentuate your curves. There are very fewer inhibitions on what you should and shouldn't wear with this body type.
However, avoid wearing clothes that are loose, like georgette and or satin since, they won't be highlighting your curves to an extent.
Pear-Shaped Body Type
When you have a comparatively heavier bottom, you should avoid wearing bodycon dresses. Fit-and-flare is going to be your kinda thing. Your plus point is your upper body, so choose fabrics accordingly.
Flowy fabrics like chiffon, georgette, and Chinon are a good choice to go with. Avoid skin-tight fabrics especially for leggings and jeans.
Apple-Shaped Body Type
This body type is when you have a wider yet proportionate upper body while your legs are slim. Use fabrics that will add more volume to your overall look and avoid fabrics like lycra and spandex.
Inverted Triangle Body Type
This body type has a heavier upper body while the waist is petite. The shoulder to hip ratio differs. It is easier to flaunt the legs with this body type. The narrow waistline does wonders for the whole look. Go for fabrics that are flowy like chiffon and georgette. If you are opting for silk, try to use them for the bottoms. Silk tends to accentuate the body shape and will make your waistline look narrower. Avoid skinny stretchable fabrics like spandex and lycra.
Now, go pull a Carrie Bradshaw without making any mistakes with your fabric ever again! ;)
