Your Long-Distance Relationship Might Fail If You Stop Doing These Things
People say that a long-distance relationship is the ultimate test of love; if you pass this, there's probably nothing that can separate you two. I agree :)
When physical matters take a backseat and all your investment needs to be emotional, that's when you know if it's actually meant to be. There is no doubt that such a relationship is tougher to keep when compared to the one in which the partners are geographically closer. While most people will advise you about the things that you should do to keep the spark alive in a long-distance relationship, we will tell you what you shouldn't do.

- Don't stop prioritizing your relationship. Giving each other the deserved importance is one of the best ways to not let the distance be an obstacle. In a normal relationship, you can afford to stay aloof for 2 days ‘coz you know you'll eventually meet on the third. But you don't have that liberty when you live in different cities or countries. Hence, your relationship should be your topmost priority all the time.
- A long-distance relationship is a lot about the little things rather than the big ones. From sweet handwritten letters to recording a song in your voice, little efforts are all you need to put a smile on your partner's face. However, distances may creep into your relationship if you stop with these sweet nothings.
- The third wheel in a long-distance relationship is technology! From phone calls, to texting apps, to video calls... embracing the various modes of communication is how the love sustains. This doesn't mean that you gotta act all clingy and stay connected 24*7, but yes, when the calls and texts become less frequent, that's when the bond starts dying a slow death.

- With the advantages, also come the disadvantages. In a long-distance relationship, you guys are back to your respective worlds once the call ends, which is why you know very less about how your partner is in his regular life. And if, as a result, you end up expecting too much from him, you're gonna be heartbroken. We'd say that you have a firm grip on reality without having too high hopes about how life will be when you two are together.
- Don't believe in making a commitment? Then, long-distance is not for you. A couple can make through years of staying apart with just the thought of being together some day. If you don't plan the future or intend to get settled with your partner, the relationship is eventually going to go for a toss!
